1. Stem Science Cell

s1.jpeg

The subject of stem cells has a high priority in the media. Although we have made significant progress in our scientific understanding, the clinical application of stem cells is still in its infancy, and the actual stem cell therapy practiced today is a form of bone marrow transplantation. A brief introduction to stem cells is provided, explaining what stem cells are and what scientists do with them.

Over the past few decades, our understanding of stem cell biology has improved dramatically. Many types of stem cells have been found in tissues commonly thought to be incapable of regeneration in adults, particularly the heart and brain. There is vast interest in stem cells from biologists and clinicians who see the potential for regenerative medicine and future treatments for chronic diseases like Parkinson's, diabetes, and spinal cord lesions, based on the use of stem cells; and from entrepreneurs in biotechnology who expect new commercial applications ranging from drug discovery to transplantation therapies.

Stem cell biology has huge potential for advancing therapies for many distressing and recalcitrant diseases, and its potential will be realized most quickly when as many people as possible have a good grounding in the science of stem cells. Content focused on the basic science underpinning stem cell biology Covers techniques of studying cell properties and cell lineage in vivo and in vitro Explains the basics of embryonic development and cell differentiation, as well as the essential cell biology processes of signaling, gene expression, and cell division.

The book puts emphasis on stem cell behavior in its biological context and on how to study it. Throughout, the approach is simple, direct, and logical. It explains in straightforward, non-specialist language the basic biology of stem cells and their applications in modern medicine and future therapy. To understand the developmental processes of complex life systems, to manipulate cells to change them, to perform tasks in carefully controlled ways, and to understand the potential this technology offers in the medical field, this book is for you. Great for students and readers. Students and readers are familiar with new stem cell technology. They understood developmental biology at the cellular level, the potential use of stem cells for therapeutic purposes.

Stem Cell Science is the ideal book for undergraduate or graduate students interested in stem cell biology, regenerative medicine, tissue engineering, and other scientific and biological topics.

3. Education :An Eternal Asset: (Articles United)

d3.jpeg

Dear Readers,

To educate the complete child, teaching and learning must encompass all aspects of student development. How do experts from many disciplines collaborate and combine their skills and abilities to meet the developmental requirements of students? What attitudes and ideas are required to effectively collaborate in order to build healthy educational settings for children? Who has responsibility for the collaborative process, and who intervenes when it fails? There is room for everyone to excel intellectually if they are given the correct education from the beginning. "The function of education is to teach one to think deeply and critically." True education aims to develop intelligence as well as character. The importance of cooperation and coordination in problem resolution and transformation in classrooms, schools, and school-community systems is emphasised.

What exactly is 'Education'? What is its principal function, and what is it not? Which techniques support it, and at what cognitive levels? So many fundamental issues that many of our "trained teachers," among others, raise. And there are few forums where they may debate the few replies they have found so far. As a result, there was a perceived need for a book of this type, containing basic principles and introductions to many pertinent theories.

I hope that the book will be a useful resource for student-teachers, teachers, teacher-educators, and all stakeholders in our country's educational institutions.

In today's world, the pursuit of sustainable development has become more crucial than ever. With pressing global challenges such as poverty, inequality, climate change, and environmental degradation, it is essential to have a comprehensive framework that guides our collective efforts towards a better future. The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) provide precisely that framework.

This chapter introduces the significance of the SDGs and their role in shaping our sustainable development agenda. The SDGs, consisting of 17 interconnected goals, were adopted by the United Nations in 2015 as a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure prosperity for all. They encompass a broad range of issues, including poverty eradication, education, health, gender equality, clean energy, sustainable cities, and more.

The chapter also provides an overview of the book and its purpose. Titled "Reimagine, Rethink & Reinvent: Achieving the Sustainable Development Goals," this book aims to delve into each of the SDGs, exploring the challenges, opportunities, and innovative solutions associated with them. Through in-depth research, analysis, and case studies, this book seeks to inspire readers and provide practical insights for individuals, communities, policymakers, and organizations working towards sustainable development.

By examining each SDG through the lens of reimagining, rethinking, and reinventing, we can explore innovative approaches and transformative actions that can accelerate progress towards the goals. Each chapter will delve into specific SDGs, examining their key dimensions, exploring best practices and success stories, and providing recommendations for effective implementation.

This book serves as a comprehensive guide and resource for all those passionate about creating a sustainable and inclusive world. It is our hope that through understanding the importance of the SDGs and exploring the potential for reimagining, rethinking, and reinventing our approaches, we can inspire meaningful change and contribute to a brighter future for all.

Join us on this journey of exploration and discovery as we delve into each SDG, uncovering the possibilities for sustainable development and envisioning a world where the goals are not merely aspirations, but a reality. Together, let us embark on the path of reimagination, rethink our strategies, and reinvent our actions to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals.

I challenge our readers to try the various leadership models and theories presented in this book, determine which are the best fit for their practice, and utilize those approaches in day-to-day practice. Practitioners, like most of the workforce, spend the bulk of their time working for organizations. Because they rarely engage in their practice alone, their ability to work effectively with others is of paramount importance. The theories, models, and practices in this book offer a framework for effective leadership that can be applied at all organizations, regardless of the size or type of organization, or the position of the leader in the organization’s hierarchy. All disciplines in the twenty- first century demands leadership that is intelligent, purposeful, caring, competent, and ethical, with a commitment to making a difference in the lives of the people served.

4. Introduction to Sustainable Development Goals

f1.jpeg

The United Nations, the global podium of peace and humanity, approved the 2030 agenda which contains the Sustainable Development Goals. In September 2015, the World leaders of all 193 member states of UN agreed to 17 Sustainable Development Goals as the Global Goals. The 2030 Agenda which contain the Sustainable Goals carries a resolve that has potential to liberate humanity from all man-made crises. These goals focus on global challenges that are facing humankind including poverty, hunger, inequality, climate change, environmental degradation, peace and justice but focus forward on social and economic development and environmental protection for our better future. As these goals are broad and interdependent, they are made more actionable by identifying the specific target for each goal along with indicators to measure progress towards each target.

We live in an age of globalisation and are connected through high-speed Internet. Actually in the pursuit of global progress, we have left behind so many due to lack of compassion. So, it's hour of need to globalise our compassion. Otherwise, how could the goals are met? It should be noticed that these goals challenge our culture of silence and passivity. They are questioning our inaction and watching our actions. As a result, there is a need of collective action with sense of urgency to achieve these 17 Sustainable Development goals that are interlinked and considered as a '' blueprint to achieve better and more sustainable future for all ". Therefore, all governments, intergovernmental agencies, business, activists must act together to put an end to all forms of crises such as poverty, hunger, inequality unemployment that have no place in civilized society.

To achieve these goals we have to work for eradication of poverty and end hunger, ensure a healthy life and well-being , impart quality education, gain gender equality by empowering all women and girls, ensure availability and sustainable water management, renewable and affordable energy, economic growth with full of productive employment and decent work, resilient infrastructure, reduce inequality, make cities and human settlements safe and sustainable, ensure sustainable consumption and production pattern, take urgent action to combat climate change, conserve oceans and marine resources , protect ecosystem, promote peace and justice for all and strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development.

Remember: our future depends on the sustainable work we do today.
Such is the book, 'Sustainable Development Goals ' is a good read, written by a young scholar Dr.Pratik Rajan Mungekar. This informative text deals with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals and the 2030 Agenda adopted by the United Nations. The beginning chapter, ‘Introduction ' defines the concept of the 'Sustainable Development Goal' to make its meaning clear. Besides the remaining chapters 2 to 18 deal thoroughly with clarifying 17 Sustainable Development Goals. The information provided here is not filled with heavy grammar and technical jargon. The writer's style is so lucid. As a result, the text is not merely an interesting read that can be enjoyed from top to bottom but the work attributes a value as it offers comprehensive account of the sustainable development goals combined with thoughtful detailed discussion.
